OP here, it's sounds like the US McDonalds keep their uneaten fries overnight, in a 24hr, like cinemas do with popcorn.
>>7875758
Worked at McDick's for two years, we don't. Everything gets thrown out at closing, and fries sell fast enough (plus smartasses who order le unsalted fries) that you're very likely getting fries cooked no more than a couple minutes ago.
Fast food is low-quality in general but some of the myths are absurd. You make yourself look stupid if you parrot dumb shit like pink slime or the like
>>7875770
>shit like pink slime
maybe now... but a few years back
So are the amerifat ones better?
>>7875770
This.
No restraunt can cook a food then let it sit overnight. Health codes are not a myth.

The fries are the same food laws in the united states have to list everything the uk does not
>>7875758
I've never seen any fast food joint that keeps anything other than vegetables and chili overnight
>>7875749
go away mcshill

mcdicks employee here. shit stays in the freezer for months. and we give you expired buns cause its not like it isnt full of preservatives anyway
>>7875876
As long as they aren't stale or moldy I couldn't care less.
>>7875895
that's cause you're retarded. but hey if you eat it in the first place that's clear. you have no idea what gross shit goes down in here that's is way worse than mold
>>7875908
none of the additives to the US fries are hazardous to human health you new age retard
>>7875876
Obviously, but I felt it was implied I was talking about cooked items or food that has already been outside of the freezer for use
Wendy's and sonic buns (outside of obscure shit like a wheat tortilla) generally doesn't last more than 5 days because of the stock/sell rate, and a bread truck comes every 5-7 days

What do you think potatoes are?
>muh chemicals
Jenny McCarthy pls go

my job doesn't make us do the following (but I still do it myself anyway)
>wear gloves (unless due for an audit)
>change sanitizer solution in cleaning cloth buckets
>throw away fucked up food (if we make a burger wrong, ie putting ketchup if there's supossed to be none)
we put it in the warming drawer until someone orders a burger like that
>wear hats or hair nets
>scrape grill after use before closing
sonic drive in btw
