I've never honestly heard of someone not putting pickle juice in their deviled eggs. I thought that was a required ingredient. If you don't pickle juice, try it, it's freaking delicious.

The best deviled eggs I've ever eaten had dried mince onion in it.

I've always just used egg yolk, mayo, shitty mustard and mixed it up and spooned it in the egg whites, then sprinkled with paprika. Where I live now every one mixes the yolk mixture with relish and it's disgusting to me.

This old lady I used to live beside put smoked oysters in her deviled eggs. I thought it was strange but it was pretty good.
