Anyone got any good fruit pie recipes, preferably for a 6-inch plate? I'm making a pie a week until I don't suck at pie crust but have run my usual recipes thin. Non-fruit pie recipes are welcome too but I would prefer something with double-crust.

Try replacing three tablespoons of the water you use in your crust recipe with vodka. The gluten strands become tough when overworked and vodka helps prevent this. Also, make sure everything is cold as shit before attempting to make a crust. Good luck!
