Honestly burgers. There's food that I like better than burgers, but I think I would get tired of them after a while. When my dad got a smoker for christmas we had steaks, brisket, or ribs basically every day and even that got old.

But a burger is just tasty enough to be appetizing while mundane enough to not be overbearing. Hot dogs would also work, I think, and I basically did eat them every day when I used to work at IKEA.

Potato Pancakes and Goulash
Dear lord, this shit makes me wet. Get a huge ass pancake that covers your entire plate, add the goulash and gravy. The pancake absorbs the gravy, where the whole dish becomes one. The crispiness of the pancakes and the tenderness of the pork, it's actually orgasmic.

I can't get them where I'm currently going to school. I'm home now for the summer and one of the first things I did was pick up a 2 lb. bag of them. It's sitting at my house, and I'm thinking now, in the middle of the night, of driving from my friend's house to go get them, simply because they are so delicious.

It is! My ex-girlfriend was from Hawaii and introduced me to it, but I later found it in Asian markets in the area, with the larger one around actually selling them in bulk in their Chinese medicine shop. Li hing mui is what it's mostly called in Hawaii, if I'm not mistaken. There are a variety of different kinds, but I prefer the darker red ones that are not crusted with salt.

Very tasty, flavorful, and addicting, and they always make me think of the summer.

Tacos/Pizza

Thanks to being brainwashed by the ninja turtles as a kid, I can literally eat pizza everyday.

Tacos is just simply a great combination of tastes that I love. The seasoned meat. The gooey cheese. The sweet and tangy salsa. The creamy sour cream. The crunch of the shell. I can eat like 12 tacos in one sitting if I wanted to.
>>
>>7837785
Noice, i'm from the north i heard people there a little bit loud, but eh, generally spaniards are a little loud. The food will be very good, goods amounts for not very much price. My region is sometimes a little bit expensive.

I'll definitely be trying to get out and see more of the country too. I hear the trains are pretty good, is this the case? I think up where you are is more like where tourists will go a lot?

True, and also true. The most famous train is AVE, (Alta Velocidad Espanyola) "High Spanish Velocity" which can go to a maximum of 310 km/h, aprox. 192 miles per hour.

Catalonia is mostly famous due to its beaches and parties. Valencia and Mallorca are pretty famous for the same things.

Mediterranean cuisine is very diverse and equilibrated, so yeah price depens in where do you eat but usually the quality its pretty good overall.

I was also originally from Hawaii so li hing mui was obviously a big part of my childhood.

When an L&L opened near me and I saw they sold Jade I bought a couple bags expecting a nostalgia bomb.

Then I was thoroughly disappointed, and then read the ingredients and realized it was because aspertame was a major ingredient, but had only become a popular sugar alternative after I left Hawaii, which I grew to hate.

Beans on Toast (heavily buttered)
This is the only food I will eat before 12pm, I have had it for breakfast every day for 3 years. I am not even British, I am Romanian and came here 4 years ago.

It is so fucking good though, sometimes I add cheese or chili pepper or red onion but usually I just have the beans and buttered toast. I often have 3 meals of it per day. Sometimes I even have a 'treat' if I work hard during the day by taking 4 tins of beans and pouring them over a single slice of bread, then I eat them pretending I am saving a rape victim from a bean gangbang hnggg so fucking tasty. When people attack UK food I just don't get it. Beans on toast is perfect. The melting butter, the soft bread, holy fuck it is so good. I would esimate actually that it is 60% of my diet and I am a pretty fat guy.
>>

I buy mine from the supermarkets. They've got some nice flavoured ones with pepper, parsley and lemon and sweet chilli varieties. They're usually good bone wise, since they're de-boned in processing.

pasta, homemade sausage (it's another world), and rice, and homemade bread.

I'm from a family of italian immigrants, so this stuff was my staple for the first 20 years of my life. Can't shake that. Especially with tomato sauce I make with my grandmother when we go out to pick tomatoes. Mhhhm.

I'm like 98% vegetarian, but when it's the time of year to make sausage, nothing can hold me back. It's delicious.

Rice is delicious too. I think I just like carbs/starch. Nishiki is the best I could find in Canada (I think it's the best outside Asia, honestly) but it really doesn't compare to rice in Japan.

Sourdough, kalamata olive bread, and ciabatta loaves never last more than 2 days at my house. and I'm talking huge ones.

Garden-fresh vegetables and herbs are amazing too. Mint leaves right off the plant taste so satisfying. Same with shallots/onions, just eat them right out of the ground with a piece of bread.
