It looks like way too much bread in that picture, but mcdonald's isn't stupid. The burger is carefully balanced with moisture, crunch, meatyness, and bread. Its a proper combination, proven a billion times over, unlike some of the horribly unbalanced shit we see posted here.
Its not too thick to bite into either. Its just satisfyingly large.

I like to rip on McDonald's for being trash, but I do love me some Big Mac. Anon was right, it's perfectly balanced. That middle bun is genius.
