I tried it tonight guys. BK by my work had them in stock and they said they were selling quite a few of them.
My take on them?
The cheeto "crust" on the outside is probably the best part of the whole thing. They weren't at all greasy, and the crust had an intense almost sharp cheddar taste to it. Completely overshadowed the macncheese on the inside, but was still there.
Overall pretty tasty honestly, I was surprised. now if they make a hot cheetos version holy hell I will die from diabeetus and cardiac arrest.
I've seen places do deep fried mac and cheese before. I feel like the powder would ruin it.

The meat I was gonna use for dinner looked off, so I decided to just go to a drive through. Remembering this thread, I went to Burger King to try these since I'd have the nuggets and a cheap burger to fall back on if they were shit. They were surprisingly good, but the amount you get (5) for the price (about $2.50) is really not worth it. I'll probably just make them at home for much cheaper and better control.

Got some today. They were pretty tasty. Not the best gimick on mac and cheese I've ever had, but they were warm, not very greasy/powdery on the outside, tasted like your regular Kraft boxed mac and cheese powder sauce, had discernable noodle texture inside. It wasn't great, but it was good.

Decided to try them today because they're the current meme food I've been seeing people post about.
I got 6 in my box, so good start, but they're pretty much just those diced jalapeno poppers you get with a bit of pasta instead of pepper in them. The cheetos don't really add anything to the taste and only add cheeto dust to your fingers. I don't mind paying a little to try out w/e wacky gimmick fastfood item of the month is, but they're not really worth the asking price.

It was never great food, and the coffee's pretty mediocre, but I'll always have a soft spot for the simpler Tim's of yesteryear.

BK is pretty shitty but I like the glorious mess that is the Double Stacker. And the one in the pic was amazing.
I didn't start eating BK until I was 16-17 and smoking a lot of weed, so it holds some nostalgic attraction for me. I then moved to a small city that only had one BK on the other side from where I lived, so it was a treat when I went (and mostly disappointing too).
I respect them because they try weird stoner promotions that are usually awful but at least provide some novelty.
That said, I'll try these for sure if they are in Canada, but I can just imagine how bland and uninspiring they will taste.
