Kroger has been becoming better. The kroger near my house has a much nicer store with much larger variety than the any of the publixes near me.
Over priced food at the sake of "constant deals"
B1G1 is really like buy one get other 50% off anywhere else. Good company though.
Probably 75% of my kitchen is Kroger brand food desu
>>7804430
The correct plural term of publix is publixi
>>7804826
True fucking statement
I want to edit this picture so it says "your" but fuck Shaw's - Shaw's is hot trash
>>7804847
FUCK
But seriously this is the grocery store equivalent of Ames
>>7804406
i like it because I don't need a fucking "Publix Card"
I go to kroger and say I don't have a kroger card and the cashier looks like I just ran over her dog
>shopping at corporate chains
Support your local co-op.
>>7804883
Dude why the fuck do stores still do this shit
Why have a physical card that one needs to carry whenever they shop that isn't a credit card? Seriously nobody gives a hot shit
I only shop at cruelty free locations.
>>7804933
i only shop at cruelty locations
>>7804406
> he doesnt have a harris teeter to shop at
sup, pleb
>flyovers and yankcucks don't know about pubsubs
Feels great living in the best state of the union
>he doesn't know about based wegmans
I feel bad for you bro
>>7804489
90% of mine is Kroger brand. You can't beat the value and quality. Their mac n cheese is even better than Kraft.
>>7805292
Came here to post this.
The RTC stuff is kinda pricey but everything else is fucking dope and these days their prices match/beat every other place nearby.
Whole foods>Trader Joes>Publix>Everything else.
walmart is objectively the greatest grocer of all time
>food, sweatpants and ammunition all in one stop
count me in
>>7805453
I appreciate that some people like them. And that's fine. It's almost not a choice in many areas. If Kroger was closest to me, I might very well have a Kroger card as well.
Though I feel very happy not carrying around store cards.
>WEGMANS
If you live in the north-east part of the states, then you've more likely than not experienced wegmans, they're a god tier grocery store and company.
>>7804430
Agreed. And kroger's a lot cheaper too. The kroger in my last town was expanding and can compare to a publix.
>>7804883
The card helps track purchases for better demand forecasting.
I just get the little key thing. Or you can just give them the phone # attached to it. Also makes getting deals a lot easier- if you go on their site you can just load up on coupons and it automatically applies when it scans your card.
>>7806106
>coupons
just because I cook doesn't mean I'm a woman
>>7805024
Amen
>not stocking up on BOGOs
>not driving around your county the week after $26 bags of shrimp are on sale
>not making twice as much back in store credit gift cards
tfw haven't had to pay for food, wine, cigarettes, or anything in months
>>7804406
Publix is 3 to 4 times expansive then other stores tbqh famalam.
>>7805445
The first time I've actually smiled at frog posting. Also fuck I want a pubsub now why is it 2 a.m.
Wegmans.
They have everything you'll ever need for cooking. Including international ingredients.
>he doesn't pay bottom dollar at Aldi because he's afraid of German efficiency coming stateside
Eat shit, losers, I'll be busy getting eggs for $1.19.
>>7806602
aldi is too far from my place, the gas i spend would not make up for the cheap rice and beef.
>>7804960
>grew up with harris teeter
>parents started shopping at costco to save money slightly before i left for college in the midwest
>no harris teeters in the midwest
also pic related, got one of these and a balloon every time i went grocery shopping with my mom
>>7806089
I lived in Rochester and then Allentown in PA. Both had Wegmans... FUCK I miss that grocery store.
>>7806629
My parents live in Tennessee and they used to have a Harris Teeter near their house and everytime my dad went there he would take at least 15 cookies out of that thing. No one ever caught him.
>>7806637
i could only take one and after they came out with the low fat ones i had to get one of those
they were still good but pretty dry and chewy
also the dragon ride
>>7806650
Yeah, Harris Teeter is a great grocery store. It's a shame Kroger took over the one near their house but it's actually pretty nice
>>7806653
harris teeter was actually acquired by kroger which explains some of the kroger shilling/conversions
>>7806660
i've noticed a pro kroger slant lately but their newer stores are pretty top notch. quite surprised
>>7806629
That's a pretty weird lookin' Publixaurus m8.
>>7806665
>Publixaurus
tfw no dinosaur mascot riding a rascal around my grocery store to the musical stylings of michael jackson playing at medium volume from a boom box
