I've never understood the appeal of Manhattan clam chowder. New England, I understand, because it's a creamy clam chowder. But, if I wanted a tomato based soup with clams, I'd just make bouillabaisse or cioppino instead.
Does manhattan clam chowder have a thick or thin broth?

yea.

A grocery store in Chicago.
I remember when we had Osco Drugs in Indianapolis when I was growing up. They all closed in Indy, but I guess whatever Jewel is bought them, or something, and they're still around in Chicago.

Did you enjoy it?

Eh, for Campbell's it wasn't bad. Now can anyone tell me what happened to Progresso's Italian Wedding soup? I miss that shit.
