How do you cook for just yourself /ck/? Do you make large batches of food and then eat the same thing for a couple days or do you cook a small meal every night? How do you deal with the fact that most foods are sold in packages for families?
If I had ambition in my life, I'd just prep meals on Sundays so I have it all ready to go all week.
Right now I just eat out and hate myself.

I usually cook enough for 2-3 people and just throw the leftovers away, pretty easy.
Cook a small meal every night
Would kill myself if I had to eat the same thing two days in a row on a regular basis

If I see a good deal on something family sized I'll put a few in the fridge and think up different uses for them throughout the week and freeze the rest.
I'm always using different combinations of rotating ingredients. It's just a matter of using up what's going to go bad first and getting creative so you have variety. I very seldom look up a recipe online and go shopping for it; if anything I'll find inspiration and maybe buy something specific so I can try a new dish.
Cook normal size meals and freeze them
Works out well for the days I can't be arsed to cook
I cook small meals
I just follow the recipe (serves 4-6), eat until I'm full and then toss the leftovers in the lagoon at dusk and watch the alligators gobble them up
they (the alligators) are getting fat, though

Post a pic of the alligators please.
