Do you like sports drinks? I know they're not better health wise than soda but I prefer them as soft drinks
Yes, during my wrestling days I was a sports drink connoisseur
Wouldn't recommend touching the stuff if your not actually doing an intense workout though, that sugar piles up after a while

Actually, some of them have half the amount of sugar found in soda so they can actually be a bit better. It all depends on how much you're consuming though.

Nothing better than a grape gatorade poured over ice when you are hungover and dehydrated

* and black.

>grape
OP try Blackberry powerade

>mfw just drank a red powerade after mowing my big lawn and setting up the inflatable pool
I'm trying this, pretty decent.

They're much healthier than soda, having have the sugar of soda and powerade and gatorade both have minerals and powerade even has vitamin B
Gatorade and powerade are pretty much the only sugary drinks I ever drink, but when I do I don't drink a lot and I drink it pretty rarely

Try the XXX Vitamin Water. It's a godsend when hungover

All gatorade tastes like vomit to me and makes me sick.
Any good alternatives that actually feel good to drink?

This.
They're pr good if you're sweating like fuck.
If you're not, they're just salty syrup.
I'd rather have Pedialyte when I'm hungover.
2 bottles powerade in the "morning"
I switched from sports drink to ors hydration salts after exercise. The lemon and slightly salty flavour tastes great with icy water.

If you're really exerting yourself, I mean really sweating and really performing sustained physical activity, those electrolytes can be vital to keeping you going or bonking.
Also if you get food poisoning, and you get bad diarrhea, you're going to get dehydrated. And then you'll chug some water. But it's not going to help, because you've also lost a shitload of those electrolytes. And you better pray you have someone to go to the store for you or you can drive yourself, walk into a grocery store and purchase some for yourself.
Or you can keep some sports drink powder at home, back in the cupboard for when you need it if this case ever comes up.
What exactly is the flavor of Glacier Freeze Gatorade? I've been trying to figure it out all week and its driving me nuts.

They're nice because they're basically free calories, sugar, and carbs in a refreshing drinkable form. Also salt and electrolytes.
Good for doing manual labor and track meets and shit, or if you're hungover or ill. Basically use it whenever you'd use pedialyte or need to rehydrate.

Its probably patented. I've wondered for years, the newer flavors like arctic blitz and icy charge are doing the same shit to me. I cant figure them out.
