We adopted my 6 year old neice a year ago. She was raised with her Grandmother always cutting the crust off of her bread. That stopped the first day she moved in with us. All bread brands sold in groceries in the US is made at the closest local bread factory, and is priced the exact same price per weight per type of bread.
If you purchase a legitimate loaf of bread, that's completely different, but the loaves in bags are all the same price for that specific kind of bread, unless they're about to go stale.
