Roasted garlic and herb potatoes and grilled asparagus. If you do wine, Malbec goes great with either a ribeye or porterhouse. Beer goes better with leaner cuts of meat such as sirloin or fillet. I usually go with a pale ale.

I enjoy asparagus, but it has to soak in the blood from the steak. Mashed potatoes go well, but a baked potato is just as well.
