Should I?
When does a keg go bad? I'm sick of paying for $10-15 6-packs.

I could never have that much beer in the house because I would be in a constant drunken state.
That being said, Google "diy kegerator"
You can make a bad ass setup for that same $300 price point you linked, but much higher performance

thanks breh. I have kind of a woven/thai style in my house (lots of macrame and papasans etc) so I want to make sure my enclosure looks kind of teak/exotic/tribal

This, I wouldn't trust myself.
No, who wants to drink the same beer every day for such a long period of time?
Unless you are in a college type situation living with a bunch of people who drink a lot, then it would be good

From what I can tell, /ck/ drinkers are very ok with monotony
Hence why the only beverages we can talk about are brown

Then you should probably just homebrew?
A typical amount is to just get 20-25 liters of beer at a time, and it's easy if you brew malt extracts.

What's wrong with drinking the same beer every day?
Sure, the novelty wears off. But do you really drink beer for novelty? Not for a taste you like? For the alcohol?

There is just such a diverse selection of delicious things to choose from
Kegs depend on the beer.
They go bad faster than bottles though. Budweiser has a recommended keg life of 50 days.

Months in the fridge and on CO2. Brew your own for $20 per 5 gallon keg :)
