Former outback employee here. About 9 years ago they did a "no rules burger" in which you can customize the burger in any goddamned way you wanted it. They had special tickets for those pesky little buggers.

yes lettuce but only romaine? sure
bacon on half BBQ sauce on half? sure

No, but five guys is. Having a drive through=/=fast food. Most sonny's have a drive through but they are far from fast food. What makes it fast food is the fact that you can go in there order your shit and get out 5-10 mins after you make the order. And the only reason it takes that long is because they don't pre cook their food and let it sit in a warmer all day.
