i actually love hipster homos so i will check this out
Some of their base level shit is handy, stuff like how to setup a clean work station and figure out your order of operation was neat, and that colab they did about how to make gumbo was pretty good but most of their recipes are just not doable in a home kitchen without specialist equipment or like 12 hours prep time, in the words of that sassy black lady "aint nobody got time for that". i primarily watch it for entertainment purposes and not really to learn how to cook better. I do like their video editing though.

I actually stopped by their seattle HQ during a west coast trip a couple summers back. Everyone is pretty chill except for the ginger dude, who somehow manages to be even more pretentious in real life than he is in the videos. Grant was an awesome dude and let me try out some stuff with the whipping siphons, Ben (other main guy who usually has shadow) spent like 10 minutes talking to me about my undergrad engineering project since that's what his masters was in before he went into cooking.
It felt a little stuffy and I knew what I was getting into but overall pretty enjoyable visit.
