Anyone else hate most pork products unless its bacon, sausage, dried sausage?

Ham is okay occasionally, pork chop, pulled pork is great. But everything else is disgusting.
>>
I actually like pork but dislike bacon

I even like fatty pork I just don't like the way bacon specifically is prepared

pork is a great meat for barbecuing and putting in soup
>>
What if you just prefer Turkey Bacon/sausage?

No bacon at all? I've never met someone that disliked bacon other than for religious reasons or vegeginarians.

Usually it's all about crunchy vs disgusting flappy half cooked bacon.

i feel you mr op

I actually rather enjoy turkey sausage, ground turkey as a beef substitute, never dedicated myself to it but turkey is just fine as a substitute as long as you know how to season.

Bacon to me is just like pork "crust"
the crispiness doesn't do anything for me

I think meat in general is always supposed to be soft and a bit "melty" which bacon is neither but pork prepared properly is

you know bacon doesn't have to be crispy, right? maybe try a thicker cut

Well I hate beef except for steak, burgers, roasts, and stew. Absolutely hate beef.

Bacon & Ham is the only way I ever eat pork.
>>
>>7676893
I agree with all this except porkchops. They're vile, especially the texture.
>>
>>7676893
Yeah, I like bacon and sausage/dried sausage. I really dislike Pork chops. One of the most blandest meats I've ever had and its very hard to make it tasty. I'll sometimes like ham if its very thinly sliced. Pulled pork is okay, but again it depends on specifics. I'm rather picky with it.
>>
>>7676936
Get a thicker cut or bacon or don't crisp it up as much. Its that simple.
>>
I'm the opposite, I love pork products except bacon and sausages.
>>

not op but i don't think you've had a good one. a lot of people cook them too long and with insufficient heat making them kinda greasy and tough. a well prepared porkchop is steak-like textured in the middle and crispy on the outside.

the difference between a well-prepared porkchop and a mediocre one is like the difference between fresh fish and holy shit its catfood by now fish.

I'm pretty sure pork has natural pig stank to it which excessive salt and curing hides. I'm in agreeance with you.
