So I don't know what's up, but twice this past month I've eaten an entire pint of Ben and Jerry's ice cream in one sitting. I'm usually really good about moderation, which is why it surprises me so much. Oh well.

A company that big probably has an entire division dedicated to going in and finding out how to cut corners after a takeover to maximize profitability. Not to mention they can likely pull the plug on old suppliers or get them to go down in prices, and if not, replace them with their own factories, and then automate everything down to the smallest level.
People hate this sort of thing, but I find it fascinating.
