Or some other variation of chineze dumplings (jiaozi,baozi,etc)
Anyway, these had a crab meat/soup filling. Was pretty great
Ended up mostly just trying out all kinds of food while there; Chinese food is awesome
I went to Peru and was disappointed
The fresh produce was delicious though, insane variety of vegetables and fruit

Last trip abroad was actually in portugal.
Food is generally excellent in restaurants, what I can't understand is how the tiny fuckers in the algarve manage to put away so much food yet they're only like 5'4".
Love going back there as i'm 6'3" and I feel like a giant when walking around.
Was in USMC, on a MEU, so based off ships. Went to port in Malta. Talked to lovals and was pointed to a small tavern and had my first braised rabbit there. Was amazing. Spent half my time at every port going out of touristy areas and eating real food and loving it.

I went on a smoked meat and salt tour recently, more commonly known as travelling around central and Eastern Europe. The best thing I had was sarmales in Romania. I don't even care if they're really Turkish. Oh shit, I dream about them frequently.
