I was craving some sweets and caved. I ended up making this sweet mess.
Chocolate chip, butter scotch chip, rainbow chip, m&ms, and Lindt chocolate chunks.

2 1/2 cups flower
1 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
Put together set aside
4 Oz. Butter
1/2 cup shortening (if you don't want to be a fatty use 1/2 cup of butter)
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
Cream butter, add sugars, mix
Add 2 eggs and 2 teaspoons vanilla, mix again
General recept calls for 2 cups of chocolate chips mixed in but that's boring. So long as your mixture doesn't go over two cups your fine.
Put m&ms on top or smarties if your in canada
Put on pan/sheet and cook for 32-35 minutes at 300 F
