Just got some Cholula for the first time. What am I in for?
There's already multiple Walmart tier hot sauce threads. Maybe try posting this crap there.

I mix the chili garlic variant and sesame oil in my instant noodles

Ketchup-like, methinks.
It's a little tangy and it tastes quite a bit of vinegar. But not nearly as much as Tabasco.
A solid 2/10 in hotness.
You should have got Tapatio.

bump
I think it's slightly sweeter than Tapatio. It's good on shitty frozen burritos.

But tapiato is worse than cholula.
I like it on breakfast like potatoes and scrambled eggs. If you're going for barely-spicy mexican hot sauce, I'd start at Valentina then move on through yucateco, and branch out from there.

Something you buy for the flavor and not the spice.
I put it on my eggs every morning.

These. It's great on breakfast eggs and potatoes / hashbrowns, etc... I like to start off my mornings with something not so spicy first thing so my stomach doesn't revolt on me from all the drinking the night before.
Save the spicier stuff for lunch and dinner. Decent flavor but on the sweeter side.
Reminder that Cholula is flavor sauce and not hot sauce

Aftertaste.

It fails badly on both accounts. It's also four times the price of tapatio, so it can fuck right off.

Shoulda gotten the chipotle cholula. It's the best
