What does /ck/ do for lunch when at work/school?

I get the £3 lunch from my local supermarket because I'm lazy.
>>
>Walk into Sainsburys
>Saunter past the sandwiches and the mouth-breathing, meal-deal eating plebs, chortling to myself
>Pick up a nice soup for £1.45
>Grab a bread roll from the bakery and some deli meats for ~£1.50
>Head back to the office to eat
>>
>>7650192
Eating bread and watery soup like a medieval peasant. Top kek.

For buying cheap supermarket foods regularly, you guys sure are being judgemental.

>cheap
Mate, make that sandwich at home, buy a multipack of crisps and a carton of orange juice, you can get the meal deal at half the price.

Are you one of those poorfags that thinks tipping is travesty? If I toss my pocket change down the street with you chase it?

Congratulations on being a retard.

I guess affluence is a sign of lacking mental ability, who knew? Oddly enough if you were more intelligent you could make more money and not have to worry about £3, that literally less than I have in the cup holder in my car. When I do laundry I find more than that in my pockets. I regularly give £5 to the homeless and think nothing of it. Chances are I've given £5 to you before and you used it to feed yourself for a week. Were you the guy with the shaggy beard and a knit cap, or were you the young guy with burns on his face? Should I only give you £3 next time? Apparently I have been too generous in my dealings with the poor.

It would be more accurate to say "not poor".

>thinks £3 for lunch is enough to qualify you as rich

pathetic
>>
OP here, it takes me 8 minutes of work to pay for my lunch. I could make a packed luck but A) I'm lazy B) I don't know what I'd like that day. Sometimes I feel like beef, sometimes prawn, sometimes I feel like sushi. C) I like my 20 minute lunchtime walk alone, good to have an excuse to get out the office.
>>
If I don't bring something in with me I either buy food on clearance or find something with a coupon on it

I usually don't eat at work unless I have a break though, and that's only if I work 8+ hours
>>
>>7650256
Not OP but if I had a loaf of bread and sandwich stuff at home I'd just snack on it all the time.

I can not keep easy to eat food in the house because I have no self control.
>>
>>7650173
Go to lunch with friend, talk about business, charge it to the company.
>>
>>7650192
This is worse though, compounded by the fact that you're sitting on a high chair as you explain it to us
>>
>>7650289
Yeah being wasteful with money is really cool man, tell those genetic failure poorfags all about it

Faggot
>>

>wasteful
>spending currency i earned on food i eat

Are you seriously trying to say that buying and eating food is wasteful?
I guess you couldn't afford an education and thus do no know what words mean.
>>
meal deal is a complete rip off

reduced price 20p sandwiches masterrace
>>
>>7650173
Step 1: acquire Waitrose card (free)
Step 2: go at Waitrose for lunch and get free coffee/tea, £1,5 delicious smoked ham and mustard sandwich, and a 60p croissant baked the same morning as a dessert
Step 3: realise that for £2,1 instead of £3 you ate the same quantity of food but with half the preservatives/dumb flavourings other places have, all while looking like you're rich or something.

Or what>>7651039 said obviously
>>
>>7651194
>eating croissants every day
>wanting a hot drink with lunch
>Thinking waitrose sandwiches are any less full of shite than sains/tesco etc.
>>
>>7651039
>go to tesco to snatch a 90% off sandwich
>fucking cunt old bitch woman buys a fucking trolley full of reduced shit so no one else can buy some

What the fuck you twat you're not gonna eat it all before it expires in like 5 hours
>>
Fresh fruit and a yogurt.
>>
Brown rice and beans with a granola bar.
>>

Usually alternate between Leon for a kale caesar or the Vietnamese cafe for pho. Sometimes go Pod for a salad, but their food usually makes me fart at my desk all afternoon.

>not walking past the supermarket to the bakers and getting a pie/pasty

Protein+carbs shake or a meal I prepared the night before. I'm a veterinarian with almost no time to eat and I can do it, so there's no reason others can't, except for laziness/wanting to keep being a fat piece of shit.

>Only thing near my workplace (within 20 minutes on foot) is a large Sainsbury's
>Don't want to buy any sandwiches because it is so expensive
>Start buying bread rolls from the bakery
>They tend to be 20-60p each depending on the roll
>Tasty warm bread
>Usually go to the in-store cafe and sit down and eat my bread alone because my workmates don't like me
>don't think they have noticed
>I know they go to the same supermarket
>have never seen them so not worried
>last week it was time for lunch
>I got up from my desk
>co worker walks past me
>grabs me by the shoulders and shouts 'ITS BREADY TIME! BREADY SET GO!!' and gives me a playful nudge
>hear people around me laughing
>realise they have literally known that I sit alone eating plain bread like an autist the entire time
>can't go back now
>can't get cheap sainsbury's bread anymore
>scared to even eat sandwiches because I bought a sandwich a few days later and walked over to my co-workers in the lunch room and loudly shouted 'I AM DEVELOPING A FILLING' then walked off to silence

I eat nothing. Sometimes I might bring a bar of dairy milk or a yorkie.

I'm beginning to think /ck/ has better pastas than even /r9k/. /r9k/'s are too over-the-top to be believable. /ck/'s has enough dourness in them to theoretically be true stories.

sorry about that m8, fresh rolls are so good though your co workers must be bellends

I usually just bring leftovers.

If no leftovers, I'll bring some tortillas, bread, or crackers, and throw some cheap protein and salsa on it. Occasionally I'll get the vegetarian platter from the local kebab shop (their kebab entrees are a bit of a ripoff) or an arepa and tostones from the nearby Colombian place.
>>
I have to make my own lunch because im vegetarian and tescos' vegetarian options are fucking disgusting.
Plus I work in retail and £3 is literally around half my hourly wage.
