Capt Morgan's is really bad.
It tastes like artificial chemicals, plastic, etc. It's bad in an unusual way. Bad whiskey just tastes harsh and simple, but not like some weird artificial flavoring. very offputting.
This is some very nice brandy. Liquor store info man said it's as good as $90 French brandy. Said you're generally paying much more for marketing when it comes to French brandy. This is my first good (above VS Hennessy/Courvoisier) brandy. Pretty delicious.

California. I can find pretty damn good Vodka at around 12 bucks a bottle. You have to go to the big liquor stores though. It's usually some random Polish brand. I talk to the guys working there. Tito's is pretty good though. Probably best for the price that you'll find at most places.
