While IHOPS can vary from place to place, Dennys is consistently bad. The last couple of times I had to eat at a Dennys, I threw up afterwards, and I wasn't even drunk. That's a huge red flag.

Back in the day (no one but other oldfags like me would remember, though) they actually used to serve pancake styles from around the world. That's why they were called International House of Pancakes. I remember going there as a kid and trying different styles of pancakes every time. My favorites were the German and Swedish pancakes.
But yeah, now they're just known for diner style breakfasts and the never ending coffee carafes, so meh....
But, I'd still rather eat there than Denny's.

For me, it depends on what I would like to have. And this is because I have never experienced anything bad in either of these diners when I frequented them. Not stomach pain, not drunk people, not bad tasting food.

I've only ever been to a Denny's once.
It was so long ago I cannot remember if I enjoyed it or not.
IHOP I've been to plenty of times, though only ever at or around midnight.
The quality varies depending on the staff employed at the time. When my friends and I first started going, there were some geek like us there slinging hash.
Now it's a bunch of niggers and the quality (what little there was to start with) is gone.
Pancakes that fall apart once you cut into them, overly soggy eggs, under cooked bacon and hash browns, etc.
I'm surprised they didn't manage to fuck up the fruit cup and coffee.
I can understand the third shift at IHOP probably isn't the most rewarding job, but it's a job none the less. Put some effort into it.
