I like some newer happy hardcore. I have also heard some bubblegum bounce and nightcore which are very similar. Are there any other cute, sweet, melodic genres like this?
and post songs if you want

Wrong board you /mu/tant.
Is happy hardcore is to music what Bitchin' Kichen is to cooking shows?

For a second there I was thinking that "happy hardcore" und "bubblegum bounce" were some fancy names for soda flavours.

Gay men are inherently good at nicknames

I want to know this too
i think it's just because they think their music tastes make them interesting and so each song has to have it's own particular special sub genre title, as if that substitutes an actual personality rather than shit you listen to

Is this what it's like when doves cry?

Any suggestions while this thread is still up? I'm interested in cutesy and electronic music myself, so that bubblegum bounce sounds pretty interesting.

all 3 of those genres are pretty similar, basically it's all happy hardcore. Some genres overdo the subgenres, and some don't. For example in hip hop there are well established sounds with no genre name.
