That said, with lower-proof drinks like wine, you can use fractional-freezing to reduce volume and raise abv. It's a stupid thing to do with anything bought from a store, but has some interesting uses in producing higher-abv homebrew. The colder it gets, the more water you can freeze out, up to a theoretical max of I want to say around 35%abv, with multiple cycles through a deep freezer. With a regular hone freezer, and multiple cycles, you might realistically hit around 20-25 tops.
Even horrible flavored vodka is far beyond the level where even a deep freezer would be able to freeze off a significant amount of non-ethanol liquid.
