I'm going to give the sardines meme a shot. What brand does /ck/ recommend?

You prefer soybean oil?

mustard master race

I'm with mustard bro. When I was a kid, starting at about 10, my dad and I would watch boxing together on Sunday nights and we'd share a box of crackers and a can of sardines. Fuck I miss him.
brand does not matter; it's all about what you do with them bro.
unless you are a proverbial nigger and get mustard or hotsauce.

These are the best. They're not available everywhere though.
Tomato sauce is king. Mustard is okay. Olive oil is acceptable. Anything else is not fit for human consumption.
if bones really bother you just put the fish in a bowl first and mash it with a fork, no intact bones anymore

I can never find it in the states. just sardines, anchovies, and tuna. oh and oyster but I haven't tried it yet.
So anyway, how do you people eat these? Over rice? On toast? I've got a few cans, have never tasted them. Though I like most foods.
Literally the only food I don't like is brocolli raisin salad

I havent seen tins of herring either. Ive seen my grandpa eat herring that came from a small jar. I havent had herring in a long time is it as salty and strong as chovies? If not, would it be alright to make into a herring patty?
