Isn't Target popcorn just delicious? I always buy a bag on the way out.
>>
Is it?

I've been shopping at my target for like 4 years and never got a bag. I should try it
>>
Do American department stores really serve food? That's crazy.
>>
>>7573650
wait what third world country are you from?
>>
>>7573650
Yeah, they usually have partnerships with chain fastfood.
IE: Walmarts have mcdolans and shitway, targets have pizz hut, etc
>>
>>7573632
Mine has a fucking starbucks in it. I'd try the popcorn if they had it.
>>
>>7573654
Australia. Granted, I haven't been to one in several years.
>>
>>7573666

Mine has a Starbucks and a place where they sell food and drinks.

I like Rural King's popcorn, mainly because it's free. Sometimes if I am bored I will go in and get a bag of popcorn and go talk to the guy behind the gun counter, I do this with zero intention of buying anything.

Big w used to have a Cafe when I was a kid, with sit down seats and all. Food was cheap garbage but mum used to buy coffee and cake there every now and again and talk shit with her friends

I'm in my 30s btw
>>
>>7573686
I didn't know this. I guess it just varies by town and suburb.
>>
>>7573632
Never tried the popcorn but it's a ritual of mine to grab a pretzel and a coke before I do mein shopping.

Holy shit bro I just nostaligiad hard as fuck.
I just had a recollection of a K-Mart having a cafeteria style diner, brown trays and all.
Shit man Im 33 and this must of been when I was like 5, seriously havent thought of it in over 20 years, thanks for the memory inspiration.
>>
>>7573840
My hometown still has a Kmart and, as of 2 months ago, still had the Kmart diner thing.
>>
I remember when Walmart had it's own cafeteria that wasn't McDonalds or Subway.
Damn, that had to have been in the early 90's, I was really young but I remember eating there sometimes.
>>
>>7573840
Yeah I only remember them from when I was around 5 too, the age when I was in a pusher. They kinda disappeared after that. I grew up in a regional city and we didn't have kmart but we did have big dub.

I can't remember what I ate for dinner last night but still remember random shit like that from when I was a billy lid.
>>
its pretty dank. but why is it so fucking salty?
>>
>>7573886
You can't remember what you had for dinner last night? Hope that's an exaggeration.
>>
>>7573840

Our KMart had a cafe thing too.

It was the dirtiest, most disgusting place.
>>
In Texas, you're guaranteed to find great tacos at the vendor stands outside of Home Depot.
>>
>>7575892
I can't remember what I'm eat at this very moment!
>>

The Target in Corpus Christi, TX leads all Targets in popcorn sales. One of the many shitty factoids I pick up. Another, Wal-Mart's best selling item is bananas, I figured it would have been toilet paper.
>>
>>7575904
You're eating your own ass!
>>
>>7575906
I already forgot.
>>
>>7575905
Regarding toilet paper, you must judge the amount you purchase to accommodate the amount of groceries you intend to consume.
>>
>>7575857

That just means the person behind the counter put too much of this in it.
>>
>>7573799
white boi here, that combo would make me a loyal KFC whipping boy.

Would it be weird to go to a movie theater, get some popcorn, and then leave?

Would they even let me do that without buying a ticket?
>>
>>7575953
>Would they even let me do that without buying a ticket?

Nope. The ticket takers are in front of the concessions. And, although they make most of their money on concessions, they refuse to risk people sneaking into movies without paying the $8-$10 ticket price.
>>
>>7575962

I would offer to let them escort me in and out.
>>
>>7573650
Sometimes they even have a pizza hut
>>
>>7575953
Movie theaters wont let you even walk through the door if you're alone.
>>
>>7575962
That must depend a lot on the theater or region.

I know that the vast majority of theaters that I have been to allow you to access the concessions (and often a small arcade with video games) before going past the ticket-taker to the individual theaters themselves.

I used to work at a target cafe and had to make popcorn every 40 minutes or so. The amount of uneaten popcorn we would throw out was unreal. Also stay away from their hot dogs
