I'm become pretty autistically interested in eating more honey.
What do you guys eat honey with? dishes that go good with it?
>>7551114
put butter on a slice of bread
put the slice of bread with the butter on it into the toaster
when its done put honey on it
thank me later
>>7551114
Mead.
Homemade Mead with elderflower is killer
honey is the only way to make pig disgusting pork tolerable
a nicely done honey ham is heaven, even though it's haram as fuck
Many middle eastern dishes use honey
Grilled lamb topped with honey
Couscous with milk, honey and almond
Whole wheat bread mashed with cream, banana and honey it's called "masoob"
>>7551114
put honey on your salmon
you can put it on any meat really. but in moderation
Honey on toast.
Also, honey and lemon in your tea. Tastes good, and great for a sore throat.
>>7551134
you sound like a jew. I've never ran into a jew who wouldnt eat bacon.
>>7551184
I've never understood the "honey is good for a sore throat" meme. If anything it always irritated mine further.
>>7551189
Mix it with some lemon and warm bourbon and it does wonders for a sore throat
>>7551139
might try masoob. I was hoping for stuff more than "lol put it on toast and in tea"
surprised no one said chicken tenders desu.
>>7551126
>put the slice of bread with the butter on it into the toaster
>thank me later
for what? burning my house down?
>>7551217
This a very good recipe for masoob
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SQmYuvGomFE
>>7551223
just try it dude, make sure you don't put the toaster past 3
It gives the bread a unique texture
I use it for baking cookies and sometimes cakes. I substitute sugar with it.
Also greek yogurt is delicious with honey and cinnamon.
If you have some fancy honey and love the flavour you can drink it straight up. Put a tablespoonful into a cup of hot/warm water and sip away. Very soothing.

Jews have a loophole in their holy book
They're allowed to eat pork as long as they don't "know" it's pork
Fucking Jews man
>>7551114
Why would you go out of your way to eat more honey? It's nutritionally equivalent to high fructose corn syrup. Eat it for enjoyment, but don't pretend it's doing anything positive.
I often like to flavor savory dishes with dates.
I feel bad about eating honey. Bees go to a lot of effort to make it and then we steal it.
Please stop eating honey!
>>7551415
Ok honey bunny
>>7551431
Also they don't even really care that we steal it, and just go out and make more so we can steal it again.
It's despicable.
Buy local honey to support the beekeepers in your town. It's a nice thing to do.

The only beekeeper I've known was a thoroughly unpleasant person and engaged in clandestine extramarital sexual activity and was a fat beanie baby collector.

If you're buying locally it's fine. Bees are going to work overtime on making honey regardless of where they are, and in protected areas that beekeepers look after there are metric fucktons of excess honey.
And by the way, beekeepers are one of the few things keeping honeybees from dying. So don't let a few vegan idiots scare you away from helping your local bees.

Every good, honest and fair Jew I know loves to eats pork and shellfish. Sometimes even when we're looking to eat deli foods they'll strongly protest we frequent a Jewish deli out of fear they will only have beef options for salami and bacon.
>>7551195
My grandma would give me brandy to drink whenever I had an upset stomach or sore throat, it usually made things worse. I don't think she knew what she was doing.
>>7551114
Honey and nuts, every day. Pick up some good walnuts and almonds, mix it with honey and shovel it into your mouth.
Want to get all fancy mister autistic anon? Pick up a good greek yogurt like Fage 2% or the 1% skim options and put that into the mix, won't turn runny or water down the nut and honey flavor. Really want to splurge? Get the Fage yogurt with full fat and be prepared to consume the food of the gods.

One of my favorite snacks as a kid was a peanut butter, honey, and butter sandwich. Pretty decadent, and it's even better if you toast the bread a little before hand.

ALSO, add cinnamon to it. Forgot that very important detail.
>>7551524
Nearly-pure sugar is only bad when it's derived from corn. All others are health foods.
Use it to make pancakes.
Depending on what kind, make fried chicken and drizzle it with the honey.
Or just eat it with fruit. I don't use it for anything else except tea.
you can learn to meme like me and drink it with apple cider vinegar
>>7551129
I've been trying in vain to find medovukha in Ontario. Fugg.
>>7551415
Shitpost or not, I do really care about bees and the role they play. Their real important to the ecosystem and I wish I owned enough land away from people to keep a farm.
>>7551114
honey + balsamic is pretty dope. fish
Use it to sweeten tea!
Sleepytime tea with honey brings me back to my early childhood bliss days

hot toddy is such a meme drink. never works and then i just end up drinking the rest of the bourbon and getting drunk.
but i will vouch for getting drunk helping you forget about pain/how much your life sucks. i guess you can get drunk and eat a bottle of honey but thats just extra calories
>>7551114
Baklavah is fucking amazing. Basically honey and crushed nuts in filo pastry
>>7551606
Honeybees are not native to North America. They are useful tools for pollinating non-native crops, but their presence can also be disruptive. Bumblebees do an excellent job pollinating what I grow, so I'd rather not have honeybees near me since they're far more aggressive, even if still not very. Sometimes when I go out, every flower in my garden has a bumblebee on it.
>>7551643
You can actually pet a nectar-distracted bumblebee if you have the courage.
It's great with chevre cheese. Some of that, some honey and a rosemary cracker is perfect.
>>7551134
How would I go about preparing honey pork? Any recipes?
>>7551717
just buy one unless you want to invest in a home smoker
No one has said biscuits yet? What the fuck.
Honey and biscuits is GOAT, try that out OP.
>>7551720
Sorry, I meant a honey and pork based recipe, not actual honey pork like the ham
>>7551730
mix up a glaze with honey, soy sauce and garlic etc
fry up some pork chops halfway, then glaze and then finish off
add some more of the glaze on top
i always add honey/sugar when braising pork belly, its such a great combo
>>7551114
I like honey on salted crunchy nut butter.
Works well on oatmeal too.
>>7551741
Sounds nice, thanks. What would be the approximate soy sauce/honey proportion?
>>7551643
I'm not saying they're not needed for many crops. I just happen to be growing mostly new world stuff.
>>7551748
everything is to taste bro. mix the shit in a bowl, taste it and use what you like
sweet potato fries + salt + honey is pretty god tier food too
>>7551756
Thanks. I have like 5 kg of honey and 2 lt of soy sauce, I'll go crazy with it
>>7551114
White Bulgarian goat cheese with honey and walnuts is amazing. You should try it OP
>>7551762
i use a bit more soy sauce than honey so its more watery, so about 3:2 ratio? can't fuck it up though
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honey_dill
Not that I order chicken tendies anymore.
But it is a fuck up to serve them without honey dill in this province
>>7551114
I just spread it on buttered toast. I only eat honey that's super good, so putting it IN anything sort of insults the bees.
Don't even pay for it; my grandmother keeps bees and gives us free honey every so often. She's making serious bank off it.
I really like it with eggs.
For breakfast I usually make some eggs and put it on buttered toast and then spread some honey or just top the eggs with the honey. Drink is milk or coffee
>>7552124
dipping sausage links/patties into honey is gewd as fuck
