Why are 5 goys burgers such low quality? I've spat at least 5 chunks of gristle from each burger I've tried. I thought it was a fluke, the first time, but their meat really sucks. Also, what's with the burnt onions? Most other places "grilled" onions means soft and caramelized-- at 5 gays, it's half raw and half blackened. Also the fries are always limp and leathery. Not good at all, not even to mention expensive.

Every time I've had one of their burgers the bottom is always soaked and mushy.
Went there a few days ago after not having been in five years. For the record, my first experience was awful: the food took forever, my burger (by the time I got it) was solidified together mush, and I don't remember liking the fries. I didn't finish the meal.
The restaurant is across my street. Went in, relatively not busy. Got my burger in about 10 minutes. It was actually really good and the fries were fresh. My only complaint is that my burger fell apart when I tried to eat it. When I picked it up half of the cheese and pickles slid out, and I struggled the entire time to keep the rest of it together with little to no avail.
