What was the best burger you fucks have ever eaten?
>>

It was a whitecastles at like 2 in the morning. I don't know why but it was so God damned satisfying. But sober I'd have to say it was this road side joint when I was driving through Missouri a year ago, it had a good char and amazing flavor. It had just your basic white bread and lettuce cheese and tomato but the pattie was made to perfection.

It also had this shake that is made with marshmallow fluff blended into it, literally to die for.

The ones my grandmother used to make.

70/30 beef
Salt and peppered to perfection
Pan fried

There was something about this burger that made it amazing. I've tried to recreate the taste (you would think it sounds simple, but it isnt) and havent been able to. A while ago a 50s diner opened called Fred's and the burgers tasted exactly like hers. I think I ate there everyday for a month straight. They've unfortunately closed shop and I'm in search for a new burger place.

as an american im somewhat of an expert on this subject. I will say for fast food hardees/carls jr has great burgers. other than that its mostly bars that have the good burgers.

Strangely enough, a place called Jake's of Pasadena, in, you guessed it, Pasadena. My old company used to own it, and every other piece of food we served in every location was like licking an asshole, but Jake's was soooooo good.

Theres a neat joint in downtown Chapel Hill, NC called Buns that has burgers to die for.
My favorite is the Cajun Burger, with Andouille, pepper jack, and chipotle mayo on a toasted brioche bun. The sauce is fucking heaven, and topped off with their sweet potato fries and a cold glass of cheerwine, its probably my favorite meal period.

Gotta love a cuban burger called a Frita Dulce. Half beef, half chorizo. Shoestring potatoes, and deep fried plantains on a cuban roll.

Huh? Miami cubans are white european spaniards, mostly. I dunno wtf world you live on, but there are actually few mexicans within Miami, for this beaner insult nonsense, hardly any really. The bean culture you seem to use has nothing to do the rich cosmopolitan S. Americans that make up S. Florida. Get over yourself. It's one of the most prosperous and higher costs of living cities. Being latin isn't being poor or subjugated in this city, it means power and authority, and a majority class with preferential rights, a touch above equal rights in fact. And, it's a foodie city.

There was also this place I went to in Naples, Florida... It was a restaurant in one of those one-story shopping centres they have down there. It was next to some fancy women's clothing store. It was delicious.
>>

Small local place called P.K.'s in Blacksburg, VA back when I lived there produced the two greatest burgers I've ever had in my life.

First was just a regular burger with black pepper, cheddar cheese, onion rings and romaine lettuce on a toasted bun but god damn was it delicious. Second was their "island burger" - burger marinated in teriyaki and topped with provolone, bacon and grilled pineapple which I was a bit "ehh" about before I tried it but it was so good; the flavours just combined into a perfect synergy of burger bliss.

I miss that place. Their delivery was really hit-or-miss, half the time the fries were soggy but if you went in to eat there or the delivery was prompt their food was absolutely amazing.

The Pink Pony Burger, from the Pink Pony restaurant in Mackinac Island.

Nothing special about it at first glance, but it was incredibly juicy and just cooked to perfection. Every ingredient on it was just outstanding. Even the fries were great, really thick cut steakhouse fries. That was about eight years ago and I remember the experience like it was yesterday.

Not hamburger exactly but I ate a lot of club sandwiches in barbados and hands down the best was at the round top restaurant.

It was a hamburger bun with a whole chicken breast inside, bacon, tomatoes and lettuce, full of mustard garlic mayonnaise. The chicken was so moist and with the bacon and garlic/mustard it was so fucking good holy shit.

I've tried a bunch of fancy burgers in cool places but I'm generally disappointed. To the point where a big mac is probably the best I had so far. I'm in canada so I don't have all the other burger places that sound good.

"It is now illegal to import (or even hand carry for personal consumption) any Japanese beef. Before 2010 you could import only boneless fresh Japanese beef, but none was real Kobe. Under Japanese law, Kobe beef can only came from Hyogo prefecture (of which Kobe is the capital city), where no slaughterhouses were approved for export by the USDA. According to its own trade group, the Kobe Beef Marketing & Distribution Promotion Association in Japan, where Kobe Beef is a registered trademark, Macao is the only place it is exported to – and only since last year. If you had real Kobe beef in this country in recent years, someone probably smuggled it in their luggage."

I love it its like deconstructed ketchup

Double-double animal style for me. I am not a fancy fuck when it comes to burgers because they are only so-so even at their best. I prefer sandwiches.

The best burger I ever had was probably 15 years ago. It was from a a walk-up burger stand near the university I was attending. Big, juicy, meaty burgers that had the perfect ratio of meat, cheese, toppings and toasted bun, with a distinctive griddle-cooked flavor that I haven't found again since. I miss that place. They closed down years ago, and I've never found a burger that can compete. Oh Jono's, where art thou?

A bacon, lettuce, cheddar, tomato, and pickled onion burger on a toasted and buttered onion roll at a place in Atlanta. Nothing fancy. Just nice ingredients and what I'd consider a perfectly cooked rare.
