What's the most you've ever spent on coffee?
>>7531162
$5.15. I wanted to know what Starbucks' coffee themed milkshakes were like
$0
I either get my coffee for free or I buy an actual drink instead.
I've only ever gone to a coffee shop if someone else was paying.
I don't really keep receipts so going on memory here. On a cup of black coffee, something like $20 at Takashimaya, it was hand roasted over special charcoal in a cast iron pan by anime girls, I think.
On bean coffee, $75 a pound for Wallenford JBM (it was a gift). This was maybe 10 years ago. On beans for myself, I think like $45 for an 8 oz bag of gesha.
I'm not counting luwak because I've never bought more than 100g at a time, luwak is quite boring to me.
I find it funny to see how many gastronomically deprived co/ck/s are culturally intimidated by Starbucks
I went to a bikini barista once because I heard the hottest girl from my high school worked at one. It was worth the $5
12,50 Euros for Kopi Luwak
>>7531162
>drinking mud water
>>7531242
is gesha worth it?
85 cents at a coffee machine
>>7531654
To be quite honest familia, I don't think any coffee is worth more than $20-25/lb, and even that's pushing it.
>>7531162
Like $5 and change for a molten chocolate frappuccino from the bux: it was pretty indulgent and nice. Most by bag was $16/lb including shipping. Most by weight I've spent was $15/12oz.
>>7531194
I can trash talk Starbucks all day but calling their drinks "milkshakes" seems dumb tbqhrelative.
>>7531261
Cuck
>>7531254
Do those whores actually have any skill as baristas, or is it just subpar coffee and tits?
$0. I don't drink coffee, and so have never bought it either.
>>7531162
5 bucks for a large black coffee in a Starbucks in a hotel.
>>7531162
pic related.
I like my coffee like I like my slaves
Free
4 dollars.
>8 burgerbucks for a cappuccino in Denmark
Why the fuck is your coffee so expensive, Danskjavel?
>>7531162
$12 for an Irish coffee at a fancy restaurant.
>>7531162
1400, own a coffee shop
>>7532370
>being a cafecuck
lmao
>>7532332
God damn. I'd love to tell this joke but I'm pretty sure people wouldn't get it.
>>7532355
Oh wait, "spent on coffee" is different from "spent on a coffee". My biggest purchase was a refurbished Gaggia for $200. I call her lady gaga and she's a dirty, broken slut; but I lap up her feminine nectar like it's ambrosia.
$0.00
Coffee a shit.
>>7531162
Kopi Luwak coffee in a high end hotel in Jakarta. Don't remember how much I paid but it was worth it.
>>7532600
Lol you paid to eat poop? xD
>>7532488
If we're going to include gear, mine was $130 on an encore. To normals that sounds insane, and they wouldn't believe that that's entry level, and that there are people who spend $300-$600 on home grinders.
>>7532630
Please lets not include gear.
Mine is probably over 5k.
5.25 on starbucks salted caramel mocha frappichino.... don't judge me....now I just make it at my house unless i get a giftcard....
5 shekels (about 1$)
>>7531162 5$ in Stockholm
>>7532630

This.
$100 is pretty much the minimum for a decent quality burr grinder. You can get cheaper, but you won't get the consistency you need for good french press and forget about espresso and it'll probably fall apart quickly.
I spent about $350 or so on a Rancilio and have no regrets.
>>7531162
probably around $8 for a double espresso at this really swanky coffee joint in my city.
spoiler: it tasted sour and wasn't very good at all
at least i got to stand in a room crowded with 30-something hipsters while radiohead's the fucking bends played on a fucking turntable behind the counter.
$120usd for a 16oz bag of deer shit beans.
