shitty webcam pic. sorry. steak and roasted broc, cauliflower, red potatoes and baby carrots. made a lil pan sauce with balsamic, splash of soy and beef broth, cold chunk of butter. gg.
Country fried cube steak simmered in gravy with some gouda gruyere cheddar baked mac (wanted to get rid of some expensive cheese I partially used on other things)
when you think something's going to be quick and easy it always ends up taking forever

my kinda meal right there friendo
About to start a pork tenderloin, lazily.
Just salt, pepper and sear; finish in oven 400 F for 10 minutes.
Easy money.

was it to make delicious brown gravy? looks like he done did it son
Dinner. It was tasty.
I also made bagels, but, uh, I didn't really have all the ingredients so there was a lot of substitution. They're edible tho, so I'm not really disappointed.

Looks good, but I'm a little sad that was cooked in a non-stick pan.
>>7527136
Why? I don't know much about cookware, and just recently moved in to my own place. Non-stick seemed a convenient option to purchase.

Ummm, the thread was titled "What did YOU cook today?"...
>>7527142
It is convenient, I'll give you that, but if you learn to cook with stainless it'll save you money in the long run (not buying new teflon every two years or so) and you'd be amazed how much better the food turns out. I still have two nonstick pans. I use them for eggs and things of the like. you should keep one or two for that purpose, and pancakes.
A first for me. An entire meal procured at WalMart. Thin, useless "rib eye", a box of flavored rice, and some frozen broccoli. The steak was so thin that by the time I had a sear, it was well done...Oh well, at least I'm full, and the whole thing cost me less than $6.00

As heavy as that sauce is, you're basically stewing your dinner. The flavors will come out more mellow and loose their potency. If you cooked in stainless steel it would have evaporated the liquid a little more leaving behind a very nice and thicker sauce, concentrating the flavors and making them taste better.

coffee-rubbed steak with a side of asparagus and cherry tomatoes

How did you make your tomatoes?
>>7526889
8/10.
What did you have to drink with it?
>>7527246
Water
Crushed oats in a dairy soup with a sundried grape garnish presented in a China bowl.

No powdered bark for the aesthetic?
The only thing I've cooked today is dinner. We had grilled salmon, baked potatoes, and fresh peas. Delicious.
>>7527236
That looks like pork...
I made tomato sauce and pasta. I didn't really make enough pasta and then I accidentally dumped like half of it down the sink.
The tomato sauce was okay at least (and there's leftovers) and I had some roast chicken to microwave so i dont starve

I made sloppy joes with this weird pretend ground tofu I found. It was on sale and happened to be cheaper than ground beef.
Tasted fine, but that was probably to be expected of an overwhelmingly ketchup flavoured meal.
The texture was different though. Not bad, just kind of soft.
