drink water before and while getting drunk, dehydration is what causes hangovers. theres no immediately undoing it once it's done, youll just have to drink water and wait it out.
make sure you have enough that the alcohol to water ratio end up being 4/96 (the equivalent of having drinks that are 4% alcohol)

you could still be dehydrated at a rate of 1 water to 1 beer if your beer is over 8% alcohol, you were already not fully hydrated, or your body is slower at processing and eliminating the alcohol. but i'd bet hydration is the issue. most americans are chronically dehydrated and dont realize it.

2. Eat while drinking if possible
3. PEDIALYTE. Mix this up and drink it when you wake up to pee at night after drinking. Makes a HUGE difference.
4. Space your drinks out, have a club soda or whatever between mixed drinks
5. Upon re-entry the morning after, cook up some soft eggs and toast, eat SLOWLY
6. Rest. Drink water. Take it easy. Nap.
