I have made over like 50 cans of the stuff but I have never eaten one on it's own, I use it for tarts, ice creme, banoffee especially etc. I do prefer dry caramel when I can get away with it tho, much more potent taste.

I made my own, it was pretty good the first time I made it. The second time I asked my girlfriend to keep an eye on it and make sure it didn't burn. Needless to say, it burned. Its a little more work than its worth, you need to keep checking it and tending to it for hours.
