Yes, look up how to make ramen-style noodles from spaghetti. It involves baking soda iirc
>spaguetti
lol
>>7482596
why you laugh? it looks the same imo

>>It says they are anchovies but can't figure out where the little fish is
In the stock. It even says so in the damn title. "Anchovy broth noodles". The broth is made from dried anchovies.

Thanks. Do you know if this is a common dish in japan? The noodles don't look like ramen at all
>>7483045
>Japan
That's a Korean video you idiot.
I think OP had a stroke
>>7483049
>That's a Korean video you idiot.
Hey, you don't need to be rude. How am I suppose to tell them appart? Not everyone here is a cartoon fanatic
>>7483068
You can tell them apart through the fact that they are entirely different languages you god damned fool.
>>7483068
>I can't read, sorry I'm not a nerd like you
Kek
>>7483068
>How am I suppose to tell them apart?
The text in the video title and the comments. You see circles in the text? That's Korean. Chinese and Japanese characters don't contain those circles.
>>7483045
And even though the other guy is correct and that video is Korean, it is common to make broth from Anchovies in Japan. Standard Japanese broth uses dried bonito flakes (katsuo-bushi), but people who can't afford that use dried anchovies instead. In Japanese they're called "niboshi". It is a common base for soups.

Thanks for taking the time anon
>>7483085
I'd offer condolences for your complete inability to differentiate between two entirely different languages, but I'm not certain you'd even be able to read this.
For all I know you're confusing this for Spanish right now.
>>7483090
No hablo espanol
>>7481600
the lack of manners tho
>>7483090
Nein! Du unwissend amerikanisch
>>7481600
every time i see this image i think shes shoving noodles up her nose with chopsticks.
i need to go to bed.
What's the point of this video?
>>7483418
It looks like it's part of a food porn movie
>>7482118
They're not ramen style noodles. They're probably rice flour-based.
>>7483550
He's saying that you can make something similar to ramen with spaguetti noodles, adding baking soda etc.
>>7483920
Sure. But how is that relevant here? The video OP is asking about has Korean noodles, not Ramen noodles. "Ramen noodles" has nothing to do with this.
>>7483924
Wouldn't know
>>7484438
Is somyeon considered "comfort food" in japan? Is there any other korean thing that is considered "comfort -whatever-"? I have issues telling appart their culture desu.
Ramen and Somen is Japan.
South Korea is not.
>>7485128
What is south korea if not ramen nor somen?
>>7485183
Ramyun and somyeon.
>>7485763
But besides the obvious spelling difference, is there any actual difference? It's just noodles imo
>>7486010
You're already willing to say ramen is Japanese even though it's just a spelling difference of the Chinese lamian, so why the double standard?
>>7486042
>lamian
Checked google. It actually exists. Didn't know that, thank you anon

No. It's just the spelling. The noodles are otherwise identical, though they can be used in different dishes.
