When you manage to make an award winning vodka in Austin, TX, brand the fuck out of it and make a successful business out of it you might be a little smug, too.
Personally I'm all for small crafty businesses becoming successful. Brooklyn Brewery is another example. So is Huy Fong (regardless of their "meme status"). I don't mind paying a small premium for a quality product from an American company that has passion behind it and took some risks to become successful.
But I don't drink vodka, so I rarely buy Tito's.

Seagram's is more expensive than Tito's where you live? I'm in VA, and a 1.75L of Tito's is like $35-40, nearly twice the price of $19 Seagram's. And Seagram's is on the bottom shelf, albeit in a glass bottle. Tito's is also always advertised with that scoring shit.

Water doesn't get distilled into vodka. It just gets added at the end to bring it down to the proper percentage. Nice buzzwords though
Just finished off my first ever bottle of Tito's. It has the usual vodka smell, I took a small sip from a room temp bottle and there was no bite or harsh bitter flavor, it was the most "flavorless" or neutral vodka i've ever had. I also tried a small sip after it had been in the freezer, and a bit of that vodka bite came out, but again it was the least harsh i've ever tried.
I didn't get shitfaced on drinking it over the period of a week, and using some in cooking related stuff. But it was pretty good. Given that it was $20 and my go-to vodka (Viking Fjord) is still $13 and very similar, I probably won't be buying another bottle of Titos.
Whole Foods sells Viking Fjord for $14, they used to run a regular sale on it for $10 but that stopped. And the BevMo! employees have never heard of it and cannot find it in their system.
btw, Tito's is made from corn, VF is made from potato. I don't remember much about the 2 i've had made from wheat, but many of the higher rated vodkas seem to be made from potato.

I ruined the raspberry for myself. I enjoyed it 1000x more than Smirnof raspberry and ended up through 3L in a week.
I love how they taste like the actual plant/fruit instead of flavorings.

As a regular drinker of Stoli, this tastes nothing like rubbing alcohol and the grain really comes out if you can taste flavors in straight vodka. I really like the matte finish as well.

I have never seen a plastic handle of Sobieski.
I'm not a big spender, more of a cheapskate, and I love finding the best-for-your-dollar of anything. Sobieski is on a class all its own, for something that in my area goes between 17-20 bucks a handle. The only reason I got anything else was that Smirnoff was giving me a 20 dollar mail-in-rebate on two 17 dollar handles.
And the only thing that really holds a candle to it is Wyborowa, which might also be my favorite vodka ever. Not common, but if you EVER come across it, pick some up. Smirnoff price range but flawlessly smooth with a robust rye flavor.

Tito's is a good bang for the buck. Some of the local bars here have it as house whiskey. Better than McCormick for well.
