I love Curry House but their prices are way too fucking high, I've been going to the one in Irvine for years but it's tough to justify paying nearly 15 bucks for a plate of curry when it costs like 5 bucks in Japan.

Holy shit OP I live 25 minutes way from Mitsuwa. It's absolutely my #1 Asian market and food court.
What you should get really depends on what you're craving. Santouka easily has the best ramen around. Sutadonya has satisfying rice bowls and curry. I haven't tried anything from the tempura or udon place, but I've heard some good things.
However, If you're looking for sushi I would recommend driving a few blocks down to Nikko Sushi. The sushi they have at Mitsuwa is ok, but I've found several of the meals to be dull and disappointing.
