It doesn't need to be bitter - you might be over infusing it.

There are a crazy amount of varieties and flavour profiles, so if you like black or white tea, odds are there'll be some green varieties you like.

It's also really refreshing in China, even in the heat. If you're ever in Yunnan, it's absolutely worth it to go up the mountains and see the plantations. In the heat and humidity, there's nothing better.

According to my bags of Tazo green ginger tea, each serving has around 25 - 50 mg of caffeine in it.

Buy good loose-leaf tea, learn to brew it correctly.

Everyone in this thread is a fucking idiot. Good quality green tea has much higher level of l-theanine than any other tea, which is of the most beneficial substances in exsistance. Look it up if you don't know what it is. It's also psychoactive so it makes the experience of drinking an eqivilant amount of caffeine in green tea and coffee an objectively different experience.

Idk man, I was really tired about an hour ago, but after drinking that green tea I was able to enhance my wakefulness and I'm now studying like crazy, is this due to the tea effect? Or is it just my brain playing tricks on me?
