A typical large egg spreads out too widely in a flat pan to fit into an english muffin. If you have a plastic circle and sausage puck prepared then yes it can make a nice microwage breakfast.

When I make breakfast sandwiches with english muffins, I just let the egg spread out in the pan and then fold the edges over while it cooks to get it to a smaller size to fit properly.
