Do americans really order consider mini burgers a side dish?
>>
>>7419941

Yes, we order them as a side dish when we order burgers.
>>
>>7419941
Sliders are food you order when sitting at the bar to share with your friends when no one is hungry enough to order full meals. It's just a finger food/sharing version of a burger.

"side of sliders" can be ordered with pretty much anything though the most common is a double cheeseburger
>>
>>7419956
this. they're a dish for sharing, or a main dish for people who want a burger and enjoy the novelty of getting approximately as much food broken up into tinier chunks.
>>
>>7419941
You tell me. That pic is yours
>>
No.
You order them when you want to feel like a giant, e.g. Lemuel Gulliver in the land of the Lilliputians.

It's a very common thing to want to "eat like a giant" in the States.
>>
>>7419941
I didn't before, but I do now. You've changed my life OP

Yes, we order a side of mini burgers all the time. We call it "A side of sliders". It's very common for for us in the states to eat a double cheeseburger, with a side of 4-5 sliders. This way we get to experiment with all kinds of toppings, and we get to eat more vegetables (if you get tomato slices on top).

We always order water when we get them though. It's like a hidden rule

I usually go to White Castle like once a month or so
I end up eating half of it in my car cuz the buns get stale as fuck quickly

Are Europeans really that obsessed with the United States?

that's a given though thanks for posting it, bro

I'm fairly sure most of this is americans shitposting about americans. Euros have their own share of fast food retardation as well.

What else am I supposed to order to drink, a coke? I'm not a child anymore.

Isn't it obvious?
>>
>>7420031

Maybe you could just order something you like and not be worried so much about what is "childish" and what is not. Isn't it kinda childish to only do things an "adult" would do in your mind, and look down on others who don't do the same?
>>
>>7420064

>everyone is only pretending to like it to fit in
>>
>>7420072
Pretending to like what?

I'm merely calling you out on being a petty little shit with a "stop liking what I don't like, and if you don't share my worldview you're a child" mentality. What do you care if someone orders a pepsi.

What is the longest you have waited to be seated at a restaurant? Longest you would consider waiting? If it is over 25 mins, I'm out

I usually eat Sliders with a side of Cold Milk :)
>>
>>7420089
Depends on the restaurant. I normally don't like waiting for very long, but I'll wait for 20-30 minutes if their food is really good. Especially if they'll let me wait at the bar and have a few drinks while I wait.
>>
>>7420089

Most places I go to will bring you a couple of sides of sliders if the wait is going to be longer than 10 minutes (and a carafe of water, natch).

I don't see any problem with that.

A martini will be warm in less than 5 minutes.
>>
>>7420174
They're called fucking sliders.
>>
>>7420064
I don't drink pop, I rarely ever drink alcohol. I'm comfortable ordering an drinking water, so that's what I order.
>>
>>7420080
That wasn't me, I don't care what people order to drink.
This >>7420223 is me.
>>
>>7420223
Well thats good then, there's nothing wrong with ordering water, I generally order water too. There is something wrong with being bitchy and judgmental if someone orders anything but water though.
>>
>>7420239

>ordering water

In first world countries someone pours you water before your server even shows up.
>>
>>7420246
Depends on the country, on holiday in France and Spain this was the norm and I was never charged. In Germany not so much, same with the Netherlands. These countries expect you to order what you want, even though at times there's already a bottle of water with glasses on the table (sometimes with a price tag on the bottle).

There's a lot of difference between restaurants. Now if you're implying that "fancy restaurants" always pour water then you might have a point. But who goes to a "fancy" restaurant every time they go out to eat unless you're quite wealthy.
>>
>>7420257

>that "fancy restaurants" always pour water

I've found it to be the opposite, where fancy restaurants will ask if you want flat, sparkling, or just plain tap before pouring.
>>
>mini burger side dish with burger
I've literally never seen this but maybe because I'm in south Texas
Mexicans do order mini tacos as a side dish though
>>
>>7420246
And that's when I say, "I'm fine with water, thanks."
>>
>>7419941
Sliders are kind of a snack, appetizer, or some little "can't' decide what I want" addition to your main that isn't a burger. They're really 2 bites given the fluff soft buns, and so not really anything to ponder about what is right. They're a trend because so shareable when it isn't really the entire point of said restaurant (like Krystal or White Castle). Old-timey steamed buns, onion bits smashed into the thin patties, with pickles and mustard.
>>
>>7420257
they do the bottle trick here too, if you however ask for water they have to find you free water.

they just assume you will not think about it or feel pressured to buy bottled, so I always ask for water even if I don't want some if I see them doing that shitty bottle thing
>>
>>7419941

No, why? They're usually the main dish.

It's okay, once the semen pipeline is completely we'll be able to feed the lot of you.
>>
>>7419941
It's funny because even though they're mini-burgers, we order like 6 of those shits at a time so we're basically eating a burger before we even get our food.
>>
Is there a slider version of a butter burger?
>>
>>7419941
No I never order them. Burger + salad is my preferred main and if I got that I think I'd want something lighter as an app like seafood or cheese/nuts
