Any egg lovers out there? Whats your favorite brand? Brown, white, other?
I eat eggs daily, so I figured I'd step up to a better brand if it exists
i like brown eggs. they taste more brown to me.
Best ones are fresh out of the chickens.

I just buy whatever the store has, white jumbo ones. Start almost every day with an egg in the basket made with multigrain bread.

Local eggs are the best, at least mine are anyway. I usually buy xtra-large/jumbo and they run about $1.75/dozen.
Egglands Best is okay but pricey as hell. I guess their distribution costs are higher or whatever.
is it common to ask for a hard boiled egg for breakfast when eating out?

I don't think so. I commonly have two hard boiled eggs for breakfast.

No. Just ask for some eggs well done with ketchup.
>not just eating your pocket eggs
Top choice, the ones from my next door neighbor, his wife keeps a very healthy hen house and they often send some over.
Next: if they are on sale or I'm in the mood: egg lands best. There is a noticible quality difference between them and the general "grocery store eggs", here at least.
Then, normal grocery store eggs, always have some in the house, use them first for baking and such, save the better ones for eating in dishes where the egg is the prominent ingredient.

it's not uncommon, hard boiled eggs with a bit of salt are heaven

Well typically I'll order poached but I have ordered hard boiled before.

>$1.75 a dozen
>tfw you never find a dozen under $2 here

Same, average is closer to $2.50 for a dozen jumbo.
