Just add fresh ingredients to cheaper, quality frozen pizzas instead of trying to order a cheap "fresh" pizza.
The more expensive frozen pizzas are actually worse, as they try to emulate restaurant pizza, which only makes it that much more apparent that it's frozen.
Get the deep dish for the extra couple bucks. It'll taste better and there's more (at least enough to justify the extra money.)
I prefer Dominos, but any cheap ass pizza is better than frozen.

We have something called Eureka Pizza near Fayetteville. It's like a local chain. They're a little Caesars clone with price model and such, but the pizza is 10x better.

As a student and when I worked in academia, I went to the Papa John's on campus, because I had kept my student ID and could get a large 1-topping (could get different topping on each half) for $6 and tax. I did that pretty often on a Friday, as it was a block from my apartment and right next to the liquor store.
2-3 pieces of pizza a piece with a couple friends and sharing the price of low-mid tier vodka with some Gatorade was my budget jam, back in the day.
