Luckily haven't had tornadoes come by except back in my youth during school days, where we were already in fortified buildings.
But, for single-digit or even negative Fahrenheit temps (closest to weather hell in my area) I keep what I consider to me upper-mid-tier brown liquor, "utility" spirits, powdered Gatorade or Pedialyte, and hearty food. Bulleitt Bourbon for starting out, followed by Burnett's once my tastebuds are deadened. Rye bread and stews for nutrition.
