Bought my first loaf today. I eat a lot of bread so i'm keeping it in the fridge, hopefully it won't get moldy too soon. I'm not a fan of the texture of bread taken out of the freezer and reheated.

I don't know if it's a national brand or not because I live near where they make it, but it's really delicious bread. The company was a local success story of a guy (Dave) who went to prison and had a serious drug habit but started the company when he got out. That was maybe 10 years ago give or take.
A year or two ago, the guy assaulted someone at the factory and lead cops on a drug induced high speed chase.

He was in local news puff pieces constantly here for getting out of prison a reformed man who started a successful business. Now that I think about it, his exposure really blew up when the company went national. When he snapped, he had to sell his remaining share of the company to pay legal fees. He barely avoided getting remanded to the looney bin.

I can't tell if my mom has been buying this stuff exclusively for the past couple years because of some weird health kick or because she is going through some kind of religious reawakening.

frozen bread also is stale, dried out shit. My mom does this and it drives me bonkers. Just buy enough bread to eat before going stale and make your own bread fresh. Your flour won't stale, so make your own bread when you want it. Currently making hardtack.

Its really good bread. I liked it back in high school but its pricier than cheap whole grain so i ditched it.
