What is your favorite American swill?
Narragansett
>in b4 yuengling
>>7405567
Usually PBR, because it's available. But if I'm not I'm Michigan I'll take Yuengling Premium.
yuengling
pbr
40 oz malt liquour
Hudepohl
Cinci pride n shit.
>>7405745
In all honesty there's a lot of beers that are way way way worse than hudepol. At least they have a couple different kinds to pick from
>muh beer
Fuck off.
>>7405567
Motherfucking Champagne of Beers.
I don't know why anyone else would spread their retarded opinion otherwise.
>>7405567
The only swill I will ever pay for with my own money, and that's only when I want to get wasted on less than $8, and I don't want to drink the cheapest vodka available.
>>7405700
My fuckin nigga
Great for when you want to drink 20 beers while camping of fishing.
>>7405902
piss 5x in one night and not even get drunk tho
>>7405908
That's what the bottle of liquor is for. Take a shot, sip on your shit beer to maintain buzz, fish or camp or whatever. I only drink cheap beer outdoors.
Kirkland light senpaitachi 23 bucks for a 48 pack
Pbr or budweiser if I want to get drunk.
Spotted Cow if i want to just chill.
>>7406055
Where does one find Spotted Cow? Never heard of it.
If we're really talking swill, Bud Ice is cheap as fuck and decently strong.
>>7405567
Does Schlitz still exist in non-40 oz form? It used to be my uncle's favorite but they stopped selling it near him ages ago.
High Life is my go-to, but also Yuengling when I'm on the east coast and Rainier when I head up north.
>>7406524
yes they still make shlitz.
>>7406009
>$23 for 48
>$11.50 for 24
>$5.75 for 12
I guess that is alright if it's not pussy light beer
>>7406453
Wisconsin made Wisconsin sold. Theres some bizarre embargo on it so it stays in state. I'm sure there are ways around it if you put in enough effort.
>>7406524
Supposedly. I can only find it in bars and restaurants.
gotta get rainier to blend in with the hipsters in seattle even though they don't even make it here anymore.
Yuengling
Genny Cream
>>7405567
Regular busch, schlitz
Best light beer coming through
Regardless of price
It does help that it's $13 a 30 rack
>>7406009
It's pretty bland IMO but good for the price
>>7406591
>48¢ a can
That's just about as cheap as beer gets you dolt
>>7405862
This shit right here
>>7407172
Rainier when I was living in Seattle. Now that I am in New England is naraganset or PBR if that isn't available. I feel like yuengling is a step above swill though
>>7407133
> bizarre embargo
They SAY it's 'cause they only brew enough for here (Which at <200k, is probably true.) but I think Chicago's graft was a little rough on their pockets. Also, New Glarus is cheap, but I don't think it really fits the "swill" category. Pictured is my go-to, but only in cans - it definitely tastes different in bottles; gassier and not as smooth.
Gennessee
I pretty much stick to Busch Signature for cheap bear nowdays
Easy
>>7408787
Hell yeah
The champagne of beers!
>>7408787
Why is the glass all chipped up?
>>7407325
mah nigga
>>7408787
this is correct
>>7405567
OP that's the best american adjunct lager there is
PBR is a close second, I usually get pBR for cheap cheap shit because it's hard to find Schlitz where I live
>>7408848
> not buying a 40oz can
This was a party ice-breaker I used to do, people couldn't believe how big the can was. Got people talking to me.
>>7408936
scratch that, was only 32 ounces
this, t︂b︂︂h
I spend the past week trying various american macros and holy shit I never realized how much I hate all of it. also, for the record there was a time when cheap american beer was all I drank and nonironically enjoyed it, so this isn't a case of a craft snob shitting on macros out of nowhere. no wonder 'import' is a seen as fancy here, macro lagers from pretty every other country are much better (except for mexico, but even tecate is better than most them).
>>7408999
The reason most other countries have better macros is because they either don't water it down with adjuncts to make it taste like less, or they don't use adjuncts at all and they're all malt.
I personally have zero problem with adjuncts, but I think you should only use corn or rice to lighten the color of a lager brewed with american 6-row to cut the protein levels.
Oatmeal, wheat, and rye are always good though.
>>7407172
Fun Fact: Rainier and Olympia are now literally the same beer. They are made in the same factory in california and have different labels applied.
I remember back in college we always bought the 24 packs of Olys Stubbys from Costco. But it isn't the same beer these days. If I am cheaping out and getting swill, it will be Coors Original or PBR
Yuengling
PBR
High Life
Steel Reserve (in that order)
Light beer belongs in the trash
>>7409059
Thing is Bud has basically become Bud Light over the years
light adjunct lagers are so much worse than normal adjunct lagers
>>7409076
So true, I barely even seen straight up Bud on tap anywhere anymore, its always Bud Light. You want a Bud, you're getting it in a bottle.
>>7409141
I have never, ever seen Budweiser, Coors Banquet, MGD, or MIller hi-life on tap
