Gooseberry is close second.

We only have a few small bushes of that in our garden so we usually eat that raw, never thought of making preserves out of it.
I've been seriously loving apricot jam lately.
>>7400630
>black raspberry
You mean blackberries?
>>7400642
No no, black raspberries are a separate breed. We've got both a blackberry bush and a black raspberry bush. Black raspberries tastes in general close to raspberries but with a slightly different taste and sweeter. The balls they're composed of are also smaller than normal raspberries.

Lingonberry jam has to be a contender as far as versatility goes, since it's not as sweet as many other berries
>>7400730
Indeed, it is kind of a luxury item rather than something you always have at home.
>>7400713
lingonberry. my berry is more obscure than your berry so I win
>>7400731
imagine running 12 miles in the snow and then coming back to a beautiful girlfriend having toast with this and giving you a piece while chet baker music slowly plays in the background and you just found out your dad won 500 thousand dollars from a lotto scratch ticket....that's Lingonberry
>>7400751
Never heard of anyone putting lingonberry jam on toast. With that said I've never heard of anyone around here who puts any jam on their toast. But yes, that is a pretty good description of how good lingonberries are

>>7400739
Lingonberries are more obscure than cloudberries?
