My sibling wants to cook a whole pig heart to eat in front of their friends. What's the best way for them to prepare it so that it's still recognizable but tender and tasty?

Braise it.

Spit roasting is the only option OP.

>a whole pig heart
Not a whole pig fucktards.
Hearts are string and chewy as fuck, they are literally working non-stop, therefore you need to slow cook them. I hope her friends like watching a slow cooker for 5 hours.

Not sure if he's referring to if the ingredients were vegetarian or not.

Rude.

Anyway, just because it's very lean doesn't mean it needs to be slow cooked.

Of course some the ingredients weren't meat.

Why not chicken hearts? Then they're bite-size.
>>

Ten to fifteen minutes in the oven at around 200 celsius. Not chewy or stringy at all.

Trust me, heart needs to be braised or slow cooked.

I've grilled heart and it turned out fine. It marinated for some time but I didn't have to slow cook it.

You're wrong. I >>7398028 frequently. It's one of my lazy meals. Sometimes I stuff it first, sometimes I don't. Either way it's no tougher than a decent steak.

Well, we have two hearts on hand, so I think we'll grill/bake one and braise one. I didn't even think of braising it, so that was very helpful.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone!
