add bok choy to it, some celery, little bit of carrot and long grain black rice.

BAM, very filling meal for under 200 calories, and super cheap.

You absolutely do not have the willpower to stick to that kind of diet if you did you wouldn't be fat. The easiest diet is plain caloric restriction. If you want to eat candy and pizza go ahead and do it but just make sure to stay within daily limits.

Hey OP. I became a physical trainer after learning about diet and exercise to lose some weight myself.

The important thing to do in your diet is remember that hunger is NOT your friend. If you're hungry, tired, and haven't already prepared a meal, you are way more likely to eat unhealthy. Plan your meals at the beginning of each week, and shop accordingly. Look online for recipe ideas- you don't have to be a great cook to execute them. Ex- lean beef cooked with 3 tbsp teriyaki sauce and a head of broccoli. Add enough sauce to make it taste good, and enough broccoli to fill you up entirely. You want to be comfortably full after each meal, or you'll eat some dumb shit later. Having super unhealthy foods in the house is a bad idea. It'll be easier on you if you remove the temptation. I'm talking about super calorically dense stuff (cake frosting, icecream, poptarts, most candy). Buy a lot of fruits and veggies, more than you think you need. Drinking a protein shake in the morning is great for energy, and having energy will help your willpower. I recommend Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Double Chocolate. You need protein to keep from losing as much muscle- shoot for 80 grams a day. It also helps keep you feeling full longer.
