Is this one of the best foods ever or what? Also where does it originate from? I'm from Wisconsin and I like it and people seem to like it here. Is it from Germany or something? Our foods/drink are inspired from German foods a lot I think.

I don't know why everyone is getting so angry. But OP I agree with you somewhat. I love platters like this. Often I will make a big platter of pepper crackers, cured meats, smoked salmon, olives, cheeses ( bocconcini and boursin herb cream cheese usually), roasted red peppers, fresh herbs, etc and serve it. I love food like this with some good wine. Excellent flavours, you can control the portions easily, and you have such a wide variety to choose from.
