I don't think I've ever had chicken this good goddamn, and the biscuits were some of the best I've had in my life. Do they put giblets in their gravy? The gravy was so fucking amazing too, compared to that fucking shit ass packet gravy they serve at KFC.
Is church's any good? I might try there next. I think popeyes was cheaper then KFC too, seriously fuck that place.

I just ate some Popeye's Chicken.
The breasts were juicy, and the buns were soft and warm.
Afterwards, the division manager of Popeye's came up to my table and asked me how the meal was. I said I was satisfied, but the meal lacked a certain je ne sais quoi. He apologized profusely, and said he had something to show me that would make up for it.
He lead me to the back of the Popeye's, to a room soaked from floor to ceiling in blood. As I watched, employees of the Popeye's cut large sections from the horse, which was whinnying and screaming in horror. The Popeye's employees took the chunks of horseflesh and sliced them into pieces, then they rooted around through the bags of trash strewn around the room to find discarded chicken bones. They quickly tenderized the meat with sledgehammers and fed it into a machine which formed the horse meat around the bones, then they breaded and deep fried it.
I asked the division manager why he had led me back to this place, and he pointed at the steed's rump, the ******* puckering rhythmically with terror. "We're just about to use that section, would you like a crack at it first?"

Church's is absolute shit in the States. In Puerto Rico however... One of the best fried chicken places and definitely among the best fast food joints. A friend of mine manages a bunch of locations and he agrees that in the US it's all different from here, which explains the difference in quality.

Its not just that the food there isn't great, its the price.
Their prices are fucking OUTRAGEOUS.
An 8 piece mixed buckets with 2 small sides and a couple biscuits is like $22.99.
Their entire menu is so ridiculously overpriced that it blows my mind they can stay in business.
Popeyes has better chicken, a MUCH better selection of sides, and is typically at least 30% cheaper than KFC.
Popeyes has a 10 piece bucket for $10.99. Their sides are 3 dollars. So compared to KFC where you get an 8 piece bucket with 2 small sides for $22.99, you can go to Popeyes and get a 10 piece bucket with 4 sides for the same price. Popeyes also has a better selection of chicken flavors with cajun, regular, crispy, etc.
